Once a month! Depends on how you wear it... If you wear it longer or shaggy you can extend that a little! Hair on average grows 1/2 an inch per month! If you wear a shorter style such as a fade or textured cut its nice to have that touch up once a month to at least clean up the hairline! Simple maintenance! There is really no need to pay for a haircut every week or every other week (unless you have a no guard fade or just want the neckline cleaned up)... You wont even be able to knock off a quarter inch in that time frame! It really is a waste of money (but we don't complain because that is what we are paid to do)!

Long hair, flowing hair, hair you can run your hands through, these are all somehow a staple of femininity. So because of that, shorter hair, or hair always kept done up tightly is generally viewed as a "lesbian" trait. Now, I don't know a lot about black men, just what I have observed from the neighborhood I moved into about a year ago. But I do know white men, and they love exotic. And a black woman who wears her natural, and can look GOOD doing so, now that is exotic. Because it is far from what a white girl can do. Men love their women. Men love variety. White men also love it when a woman is NOT all done up and can still look beautiful. They prefer it over women who are constantly glam. Hence the "American Girl Next Door" type being so high in demand. From what I can tell. Black men like their status symbols. And either a glamorous white female or a glamorous black female [depending on their preference] is another status symbol. I am not trying to negate their emotion or affection in their relationships, but it is still a factor. I am sure this has to do with the hardships they endure and having visual merits to show how far the fruit of their labors have brought them. As much as black men seem to make more of dressing with style, having the right designers, the clothes worn just so, the right jewelry, the right car, the right lean to their seat while driving, the rims, the sound systems, etc. If they can ... they also seem to make more of the minute details of their women. But that's just my two cents. Take it or leave it.

My boyfriend has short hair, and he has to get his hair cut every 4 weeks in order for it to be clean and maintained. That is what I would recommend. If you have a long hairstyle, every 8 weeks should be sufficient.

It depends on the length of your hair. If you have very short hair, it needs to be cut more often. I buzz my own hair every week or two. If it is longer, you can probably get it cut every 3-5 weeks, depending on the style.

my opinion? Depends on the hair style whether he likes it long or short.. I don't care its not my hair. My husband likes the military cut- gets it cut every month. My son likes it shaggy & long- every 3-4 month trim..

Depends on the speed at which your hair grows. I get mine cut every two weeks 'cause it grows like a weed. Speaking of which....

it depends on the type of haircut. If it's a short fade, then every two weeks. If you keep your hair longer than 1 inch then every month
