The followers allow the Vatican to go as they please and they take full advantage of this. Without the followers donations, there is no Vatican. People should have a greater voice as to what goes on in the Catholic Church, after all, they pay for it to exist but, are told to be silent.

Activity is only immoral if it is done in support of lttle people, you know things like feeding the hungry, registering poor voters standing up to corrupt dictators, those are things the vatican makes priest and nuns stop doing.

The Catholic Church has done itself no favors in its allowing the abuses of children and money to go unpunished and by seeming to participate in its hushing up it seems to in some way approve.
With all it has done and all it has overlooked, and its diminishing role in leading the way of moral behavior, there either must be a significant change or it will be relegated to the status of myths in the future.
