Only if you mistreat that original cd.
Handle it by the centre hole, and by the edges. Never lay it down anywhere other than on the cd player tray, or in its case.

Nope, in the same way a CD drive reads the disc to run programs or view content, copying just reads the disc, then takes that data and writes it to another disc.

No, it doesn't. It just transfers the data from the CD to wherever you want to copy it.

no way man.if theres scraches it will copy them 2.for the rest there shouldn't be any changes.
