Study with your girls. If they are in school and have homework, sit down at the table with them and you can all do your homework at the same time. If they aren't old enough to be in school, explain the importance of homework to them and give them "homework" assignments, such as coloring in a coloring book, drawing a picture, etc. When you can, let them help you with your homework by asking them questions and letting them quiz you to prepare for a test.

I assume you work 12 hour shifts as this would offer you more days at home. How old are your children? I was a AS RN and finished my BSN, but didn't do it until my kids were older, about 13-14 years old. I also worked part time and had a pretty flexible job. I now work in a hospital setting and work along many people in your situation. They work midnights/afternoons/days. I give them and you alot of credit because I don't know where they find the time for it all.

Easy! Get up early. Maybe, eliminate the TV or any other non-productive activity. Do a time study. Pocket phones are now chewing up hours of study time with few benefits. Try a time study. Do a daily diary, note what you are doing every 15 minutes. Study the results......

When i was studding at university, i found it hard to keep myself in a routine, so i worked out a system that keep me motivated. When you receive an assignment i find it best to create a time line, therefor you don't need to spend alot of time on school work each night, and if you have trouble motivating your self to stick to the time line, give yourself achievable deadline and once its achieved, reward yourself.
I hope this helps you

Establish a time at night for your children to play, while you study. Make sure that they know that you need them to not be loud and play nice. Make sure they only come to get you when they NEED you. Having this time at night will help them bond closer and give you time to study. Try to get you family into a routine and keep them on it. It will help you much more when exam time comes around.
