is the new person just a phase where one kiss will satisfy ur curiosity/desire? that happened to me and i got over him right away

on the other hand, is ur current relationship lacking spontaneity/excitement and the newness associated w/ a new one? perhaps instead of focusing on ur relationship, ur looking elsewhere to fill in the gaps.as i dont know the particulars, i could be completely wrong, but good luck w/ it!

I am in that situation right now. My ex wants to get back with me and I do love him, but not in a romantic way. He feels safe and secure (which is nice even though I can take care of myself), and I am very comfortable with him. But then I have another man that I love and it is more of a romantic love. He is not as attentive as my ex, so I really don't know what to do. I will have to decide when one of them gives me an ultimatum. Guess I will follow my heart.

Yes, I have found that the new person is exciting because they are new. But once that wears off then you had better like the person in general. I also don't think throwing away somebody who is special to you is worth the temporary exciting feelings of a new person.

yeah me
except right now I have 4 options
I love my ex but I have to sit and think with my head, not my heart or other parts of my body.
We are taking a break right now.
Time is always the best thing.

A lot of people. One of the main reasons for break ups is that you've found someone else.

You could end up losing both of them, if one finds out about the other. You need to choose one...

I ended up with the other guy. I figured if I was thinking about him then I shouldn't be with the guy I was with. It wasn't fair to him and I felt shitty.
