I think it is possible that there was a temple under the mosque,the problem is that we Muslims believe in all prophets and messengers from god,so Muslims might have built the mosque over the temple after it was demolished,it's ok ,a temple a mosque it's all the same in Muslims point of view,but Jews don't believe in Muhammad (pbuh) and they hate Mosques.

Ok, exactly what have Jews done to destroy this temple? There must be more of this then I understand, because after reading Israeli accounts, it literally is just building an access bridge....and after reading islamic accounts....it's an attack on the integrity of the temple. I don't get it. Is there any proof of Israel destroying the temple OTHER then Islamic militants screaming about it?
I respect the King of Jordan immensely, and he has condemned what Israel is doing...so there has to be something else going on that I am unaware of, but I can't figure out what it is. All I've seen is a bunch of militants yelling bloody murder, and not providing an example of what they're yelling about.

The only ones destroying the Temple Mount are the muslims. The Waqf continues to excavate below al-Aqsa (the so-called Solomon Stables area) and in doing so have compromised the structural integrity of the South Wall of the Mount.
Israel is wanting to replace an aging and dangerous wooden ramp with a stone bridge so that muslim worshippers should die when the wooden ramp collapses.
Further, when Israel excavates near the Mount (they are not allowed on it) they take great care in preserving everything found. The Waqf, on the other hand, has destroyed and continues to destroy countless priceless antiquities from both the First and Second Temple Era.
So before you go off spouting the criminal lies of the Waqf...GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT.

This is where in the Qur'an it says that it is okay to fight and kill other people. This is an act of violence towards a place of worship. This demands retribution.
PLEASE NOTE: If the Jews cease and desist, and offer to help rebuild the temple, they should be allowed to as a show of peace, as it also says in the Qur'an.

get a clue. the israelis are trying to repair a damaged access ramp. the muslims have been digging up the temple mount since 1996 and destroying countless jewish artifacts in the process with barely a peep of protest from israel. yet somehow israel is the bad guy in this?

Jews are destroying nothing! Why is there such a big fuss when something muslim is destroyed, but when something jewish is destroyed (ie. Rachel's tomb) you don't see them protesting or going beserk? I agree with JewishGirl!

Pity it's not likely the Dome of the Rock. That particularly mosque needs to go. But the Sanhedrin haven't been fully rebuilt yet so the Dome of the Rock isn't in the way just yet.
And I'm not even Jewish, I'm an atheist. But I eagerly await the rebuilding of the Temple all the same. Of the three Abrahamic faiths, Judaism is the only one that actually makes the slightest logical sense.
