multiple sclerosis.. it has nothing to do with muscles
it is a serious and life threatening degenerative disease that effects your nerves.. On each nerve you have this lining called the myelin sheath... MS destorys these linings and then your nerves are all exposed.. think of it like a wire with the safety coating off the electricity can go everywhere.. when your brain sends messages to your body.. it doens talways go there which is why poeple have trouble walking and moving

Multiple sclerosis is characterized by disseminated patches of demyelination in the brain and spinal cord. Common symptoms include visual and oculomotor abnormalities, paresthesias An abnormal or perverted sensation due to disorder of the sensory nervous system), weakness, spasticity, urinary dysfunction, and mild cognitive impairment. Typically, neurologic deficits are multiple, with remissions and exacerbations gradually producing disability. Diagnosis is by history of remissions and exacerbations plus objective demonstration of at least 2 separate neurologic abnormalities by clinical signs or test results, MRI lesions, or other criteria, depending on symptoms. Treatment includes corticosteroids for acute exacerbations, immunomodulatory drugs to prevent exacerbations, and supportive measures. (Merck)

It is a nerve disorder, not muscular, where the myelin sheaths of the nerves deteriorate. It affects each sufferer differently, and can cause pain, paralysis, blindness, etc. each of which can be temporary or permanent.
