If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it was, and always will be yours. If it never returns, it was never yours to begin with.

So this is to mean that if my girlfriend loves me (or that she thinks she does), that she should break up with me?

If I come crawling back to her doorstep and flood her phone with calls, then she's to turn around and take me back, telling me that she didn't really want to break up in the first place and that it was all a test for me to prove my commitment to the love we had before she ended it?

If I get upset and heartbroken and never want to speak to her again because she had hurt me so badly by ending a fabulous relationship just to see what would happen, then the love that we thought we had never really existed in the first place so better sooner than later?

And girls wonder why guys are so confused...

If your smart you can seduce women by playing into their emotions, you can become a part of them simply by listening and saying the right thing.

I can make a girl fall in love with me in 1 months time and feel nothing for her because im evil.

If your intelligent enough, you can do whatever you want to people and get away with it. So long as its within legal limits.

I think the only reason to "set it free" is if you doubt that they love you as much. In that case, it can confirm someone who is insecure about their love. If you are sure both people are so much in love, I think you should never let each other go.

Agree. You can't make someone stay in a relationship, but if it is meant to be it will happen when the time is right.
