Yes its a good general rule, if you ever want to get married or stay with someone try to avoid checking out the mum. It's enough to put anyone off.

Actually when i look around i always thought it was men that aged faster than women ... I look at some guys in their 30's and its not looking good ;)
but as for the looking like their mothers that's what they say .... i don't look anything like my mother tho , my sister does ...
guess you'll be dating younger girls then , not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing , they may grow tired of u ... there is still an age gap its not all about youthful looks u know !

When you say age faster do you mean physically or mentally? Because it's a well known fact that women mature quicker emotionally than guys, but physically that isn't always the case.
As for your other question yes, that is very true. Always meet the mother, just to make sure that your Princess Leia isn't going to turn into Jabba the Hutt somewhere along the line in the future. As the rule goes if the mum's fit, the daughter should age well too (providing it wasn't a ruse and no surgery or modification was involved on the mother's part).

If I thought I would look like my Mum when I got older - I'd be chuffed to bits!!
I don't think as a rule women age faster than men. It's got to be different for each person.
If all your women age faster than you - doesn't that tell you something about the life you are giving them?!?

What makes you think that woman age faster than men......what an attitude. i am 47 and certainly dont look my age....i look at least ten years younger, so people have said.
As for your question about woman looking like their mothers....you are truly misled....genetics play a large part in how anyone looks, not forgeting that half a persons genes are from the other parent......so woman can take partly after their fathers......LOL

i dotn agree with u ... i know many men being 40 and looking like 50+ and women being 40+ looking like 30
so i think its different from person to person
regarding my mother , i wish to look like she does when i am 60

why are u talking like this I mean if u love a gal u cant stop thinking about her .............women are always more mentally mature than us in ....................we guys there is a child who never wants to grow up they are emotionally more stronger we guys rely on them for support .........Thats always a saying that she will look like her mom if u really like the gal you wont be having enough time to think about her looks 20 years from now
