I don't think you can make dining reservations for Walt Disney World online, I think you have to call. On the official Walt Disney World website it says, "For reservations or special dietary needs, call (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463)."

Be sure to make your dining reservations as far in advance as possible! I'm not going to Walt Disney World until July, but I had to make my dining reservations a month ago because the restaurants book up awfully quickly, especially the restaurants offering Character dining experiences.

Also, the guy above who said reservations may be made 90 days in advance is incorrect. Dining reservations may be made up to 180 days in advance. That's why I made all of my reservations exactly 180 days in advance.

Hope I could help! Have fun!

Feel free to email me if you have any other questions or need restaurant recommendations.

If you plan on dining with a character at disney call the wdw-dine number to make your preferred seating arrangements. This can be done 90 days in advance and I strongly advise you to do this.
In order to do so you need to have your schedule of where you will be what days while at Disney and stick to it.

We thought that this was a ruse until we called to make our reservations for the first day. When we called the next morning for the second day - they had taken 22000 reservations in a day.

Suggestions for dining with characters - Crystal Palace at MK (Pooh and friends), Chef Mickeys at Contemporary Resort (Mikey, Minnie, Donald, Chipminks, etc.), Breakfast at Cinderellas Castle (all the princesses and Mary Poppins...if you get the early time you will be admitted into the park before it opens and can take some pictures down main street with no crowds.)

Also-if you have a child with a birthday near to the trip date, tell the staff upon arrival about it and they will give you extras (cards, balloons, etc) and each park will give the child a button that will get them extra attention as well.
Good Luck!

The website you want is this: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/dining/diningFinder?id=DiningFinderPage

From there, you can learn about all the restaurants in the Disnosphere-- there are LOTS.

My favorite is California Grill-- you can see the nightly fireworks from up there.

I also like to dine in the castle at Cinderella's Royal Table (sightings of Princesses happen in the morning and lunch, I think).

Last time I was there I ate in the Crystal restaurant, where Winnie the Pooh and friends hang out. That was a really nice break in the middle of a busy day, and being right in the park was great.

The one drawback with all Disney restaurants is that they really don't stick to the times very much. So if you book lunch at noon, you might not be eating until 1pm because you might still have to wait in line for 40 mins. Bear that in mind when you book. In fact, I'd advise that you book all meals early, i.e. lunch at 11:30, etc. Feel free to ask me more about this- you can reach me via my weblink below. :-)
