I plan on donating blood plasma and was wondering if there is anyone who has done so before and can tell me how painful the process is.

Like getting a shot, just a little pinch.

Donating blood involves a small sting; they can use it whole, or put it in a centrifuge to make plasma (without the blood cells). Phone the Red Cross and ask.

every time I'm going to go to the hospital for surgery I give them blood to hold for me in case I need it. That way I don't have to take someone Else's blood into my body. It's no big deal.

as painfull as getting a small needle put in your arm to take the blood out. you will be fine, millions of people do it every day.
