I think you guys are missing the joke. I am making fun of those people who post these types of questions. Folks...if your dog is sick, take it to the vet...don't ask people in here.

Look, if you are gonna take the p*** out of people on here who genuinly want to ask topical questions then go ahead. However, i don't think you will be too welcomed by others who take their own personal time to answer such a question. You should not be on Yahoo Answers if this is your attitude to Q&A.

It depends on the situation. If the dog is whelping a litter of pups or a cat has a little diarhhea then the first option would be to handle it at home to see if the situation gets better. And while waiting people can ask other pet owners if they have any ideas on how to deal with the problem and ask for general advice. If it doesn't get better then the next option is the vet. Some people do have a few hum dingers on here, but for the most part the questions are good, valid ones.

if it's vomiting and diahhreah do not feed for 24 hours. Check the web for diahreah diet for dog. What are symptoms?

It depends on the symptoms of your pet. If he/she is not drinking any water, you should take him for sure, this can lead downhill fast.
