To reiterate, I have a lot of soreness all over my body, abdomen, neck, joints, pits, which leads me to believe that all my lymph nodes are wailing at me. I had a 100.5 fever yesterday, headaches, and I'm not sensitive to light or sound, but if I try MOVING my eyes, I feel pain in my eyes. So, for the past few days I've been moving my head like an owl to look around.

And please, if you're just going to say, "Dur, go see teh doktor" then don't bother to post at all.

Sounds like the flu and if it's been a few days the doctor won't be able to help you anyway. Your lymph system is doing it's job quite well. Stay in bed, drink lots of fluids, try not to treat the fever if you can stand it so that your body has a chance to fight it. You can put cold packs on your most sore lymph nodes to help with the discomfort. A normal virus lasts 7 to 10 days. If your symptoms persist past that, you probably will need to go see the doctor. sorry, just had to throw that in : ) I hope you feel better soon.

It sounds like a virus of some sort. There are a few doing the rounds. The fact that you have an infection and have for some time will hinder your immune system so any viral infection may take longer to overcome. You need to see a doctor and get a course of antibiotics for that infection before it gets any worse and causes more complications.

Sounds like the flu. Stay home, drink plenty of fluids, take some Tylenol and sleep. You should feel better in about a week. If not, then, well, you know...

Mono? When i had it, I had a high fever, swollen nodes, tired. It wouldn't hurt to have a blood test to see if it is Mono. Good luck and feel better.
