No, unless I worked there. Otherwise the commute is awful into the city. The schools are so-so, the summer heat is inbearable, and it's not that pretty of a place.

My sister used to live there and I used to hate going up there. It's just so white bread middle class. But I've warmed up to it. Nice houses, safe, wide streets without too much traffic. It stays clear when the city is fogged in. Miserable commute if you don't work up there, which few people do as there are limited employers.

My wife had a nervous brake down just at the thought of moving there while we were touring open houses. Very bland, self-absorbed gated community type of place. The people who live there all seem to have a very high opinion of them self's and the community. Its also incredibly hot out there in the summer and the traffic is appalling. If you are a cal arts student you will absolutely hate it.
