I've used an S2 IS for the past year and just ordered an S3 for my wife. Has anybody used both cameras? What differences (likes/dislikes) will I likely find in the S3?

The only complaint I have about either model is the pop-up flash. I've seen several stop popping up. I don't think it is a manufacturer default - it just seems to be fragile. I've used both and like both very much. Canon really seems to have their stuff together in regards to digital cameras. Nice company to do business with.

The S3 has 6 mp, a larger flip screen and an ISO rating of 800, and is gun metal grey.

the S2 has 5mp a smaller flip screen and an ISO rating of 400, and is silver.

Honestly this is really the only SIGNIFICANT differences.

Go here and read Steve's S3 review. He compares it to the S2 several times through the review.
