Please visit www.india.gov.in site of Govt of India and look for the passport status icon, after it opens enter name, file no, and city of the passport office where you applied for it, and you will get status report at once

This isn't an actual Immigration website. It's a place where people ask questions, and other people post their answer--whether it be opinion, fact, or just plain stupid. To find out the status of your daughter's passport, you would need to call the office that you submitted all of her information to.

No private person can let you know the status of application of your daughter. You have to give file no. and visit site of Passport. See cash receipt of applicant. You may get passport in due course.

Visit site www.indianpassport.gov.in and click on the status by selecting the city where you have deposited your appliction. Fill the Ref. No. and year and click on the submit option. You will get the result.

Go to the pp office and submit an RTI petition. You will get it in a week.
