i forgot what book it was, but i red it and it said this, that those whose interest are on these matters, i mean the body, begun to think or guess that maybe consciousness is also at cell level coz a hospital once admitted a dying woman and she did went brain dead, realy dead, but she recovered, and afterwards told the doctors that she knew what happened when she was out, that she was sort of watching it, had told some accurate details too about what the doctors were doing at that time, the woman herself believe that that was her, her soul, so its either that or consciousness is at cell level, i dunno, this is a real story, its not fiction okay, i just cant remember what book was it, or i think it was an article in some magazine, im not sure maybe readers digest

The best scientists have come up with is the existence of an electro-magnetic field which surrounds all humans. The scientists themselves didn't call it a soul but it was reported in the press that it was the first viable evidence for the existence of a soul.

No there is not. Had to laugh at andymc..'scientist discovered that humans are surrounded by an electro-magnetic field so that is the soul'....lol.....ALL things give off an EM field to varying degrees, therefore everything has a soul?

Science is yet too primative to detect something so subtle.
Kind of like radioactivity...before it became known.
Or x-rays, before they became known.
Many things exists before science finds proof for them. Radioactivity and x-rays exists long before science was able to prove it.
Like the soul/atman, many knew the world was round - long before it was proven and then widely accepted.
