Nads works better, and you don't have to screw around with heating it. Just do your lip every time you do your legs. Your mom need never know.
Sugaring also doesn't require the clean up that waxing does. All you need to do is rinse with water.

Once you wax, you have to keep it up. Just like when you shave your legs, the more you shave (or wax) the thicker and darker the hair gets. Because you get rid of EVERY hair on your upper lip- even the peach fuzz that isn't a problem- you'll get darker and thicker hair everywhere you've waxed. My advice is to just pluck the unwanted hairs. That way you're targeting the ones you don't need. Plus it's less painful and free because I know you already own tweesers!

Well, if you have thick hair on your upper lip it will be almost impossible to conceal and if you don't have thick upper lip hair you will lose your baby hair and it grow back coarser, so you have to keep applying the wax and eventually your mother will find out...they always do.
PS if you want to hide that you've waxed your upper lip from your mother...doesn't that defeat the purpose of an upper lip wax anyways?

You can usually get wax strips from the chemist or supermarket.. I suppose you could do it at a friends place...? Be careful though, waxing will make your skin blotchy for a while, that would be a dead give away!
Can't you talk with your mum about it??

I take it you must be rather young if your mom objects to your waxing your lip? Have you thought of bleaching the hair instead? You could use Jolene hair bleaching cream. I don't know what your complexion is, but if you are fair to medium you could get away with bleaching it. Also you could try one of those little bikini shavers that are so popular to remove the hair if bleaching doesn't sound like something you would want to try.

If you do have it waxed, she's going to know...it will be really red. Why do you want to do that anyway? Is your hair on your lip really dark? If not, then just leave it alone...you don't want to get that started if you don't really need to...it just makes it a big hassle for years...you would have to do it on a regular basis...
But, if it's really dark, I would think your mom would want you to have it done...but that's just me.
Good luck with whatever you choose to do.

i think threading (in a parlour) is better and safer than waxing your upper lip.It won`t take more than 5 minutes
