Hi,
Vodka can be mixed with absolutely any fruit juice. Whereas i'd tend to go for a gin and tonic. Other suggestions could include cocktails such as:
1/ Gin Fizz Cocktail
You will need
50 ml Bombay gin
25 ml lemon juice
3 drops orange blossom water
15 ml sugar syrup
1 egg white
15 ml cream
soda water
ice cubes
glace cherry
lemon slice
cocktail shaker
cocktail strainer
serving glass
standard double shot measure
standard single shot measure
measuring spoons
Step 2 Separate the egg
Place the cocktail strainer over the mixing glass. Crack open an egg and let it drop on top. The white will fall through the strainer into the glass with the yolk remaining on the strainer. Discard the yolk
Step 3 Gin
Pour in 50ml of Bombay gin
Step 4 Lemon juice
Then 25ml of lemon juice
Step 5 Orange blossom water
Add 3 drops of orange blossom water. As our orange blossom water comes with an atomizer we are adding 3 squirts, which is the same quantity
Step 6 Sugar
Pour in 15 ml of sugar syrup
Step 7 Cream
and 15 ml of cream
Step 8 Shake
Fill the glass with ice cubes. Put the other half of the cocktail shaker on. Slap it down firmly to seal. Hold the top and bottom, and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds.
Step 9 Pour
Fill a serving glass with ice. Put the cocktail strainer over the shaker and pour the cocktail into the glass.
Step 10 Soda water
Top up with soda water
Step 11Garnish
Drop in a couple of straws, place a slice of lemon on top and finally drop in a glace cherry
2/ Greater Texas Cocktail
Step 1 You will need.
50 ml gin
50 ml vermouth
50 ml pineapple juice
50 ml orange juice
1 pineapple slice
ice cubes
1 old-fashioned glass
1 ice crusher (or wooden pestle)
1 ice scoop (or cup)
1 blender
1 knife
1 chopping board
Step 2 Prepare the cocktail.
Begin by crushing some ice using an ice crusher or a wooden pestle. Add 1 scoop of crushed ice to the blender.
Into the blender measure out and pour in 50ml of gin, 50ml of vermouth, 50ml of pineapple juice and 50ml of orange juice. Place the lid on the blender and blend on a low power for 30 seconds.
Step 3 Serve
Finish by pouring the mixture into an old-fashioned glass and garnish with a pineapple slice. Enjoy A Greater Texas in the comfort of your own back yard.
Many more can be found on the source stated below. There is also a visual video explaining how to make the cocktail
Enjoy!

The classic mixer for gin is tonic water, with a little bit of lime juice, its very good, and you can make it as strong or as weak as you like. Serve in a tall glass.
Vodka mixes well with most anything, but one drink I enjoy is called a Moscow Mule, its a shot of vodka, hint of lime and then top off the glass of your choice with ginger ale. Goes great with a salty snack. Those are the simplest drinks you can make with just one alcohol.

I guess the two obvious ones are Tonic and Vermouth. That would give you a vodka/gin & tonic or a martini.
You can mix vodka with just about any fruit juice...ex. Cranberry Juice.
Gin is trickier. Stick with Gin & Tonic.

Gin mixes well with a soda called Squirt, which is grapefruit based. I like to mix vodka with just about anything...flavored sodas and some fruit juice of just about any combination is great. Another trick is to mix it with a weak "malt beverage" like hard lemonade if you want a real kick, but you have to be careful if you do, as it turns out quite potent.
