By definition religion is a set of rites and rituals coupled with the worship/reverence of God(s) or impersonal Higher Being(s). A God is a deity which basically means they are a Higher Being and can have the power to create or destroy and control certain aspects of life, e.g. the wind and rain. A religion exists if people follow it and a God exists regardless. Deities exist whether people believe in them or not.

Religion exists, obviously. It's a way to find direction and purpose in life.
I believe in God, but I don't take the idea literally. I also believe it's possible to believe in God but not believe at the same time. I heard an atheist say once; "I don't believe in God. I believe in an undefinable force that makes grass grow and so on." It's sounds to me like he did believe in God, he's just preferred to use his own terminology. Sometimes I wonder if a lot of so-called atheists do that.
Buddha, the founder of one of the great religions in the world, never came out and said God exists or doesn't exist. One of his follwers said "You have to tell me if there is a God or not. If you don't, I will stop following your teachings." Buddha said "You are lke a man who was shot by a poisoned arrow; but he won't allow anyone to remove the arrow until he knows the name of the man who shot it." I'm not sure I totally understand that, but I think there is a great deal of wisdom in these words.

Religion and God are man made mental creations that we use to explain the things for which there isn't an explanation (ie death). We make up the concept of God because the idea that "when a loved one dies, we will never see them again" is too tough to bare.
Nobody knows whether or not God exists. Some people claim one way or the other, but neither side has a strong argument to support their claims.

Me personally being an intellectual being religious is irrelevant it is a practice made for the weak of heart and soul and used to lean on in times of hardship. Religion is a state of mind, a series of acts that you perform to show you believe in a set of man made beliefs. God is real because you can not sit around and think that the big bang theory did this or humans come from one cell organisms. But with god the way man depicts him with all the rules and hierarchy of religion are wrong. Love the God or Gods you believe in and don't worry about what everyone else says.

Religion is any set of mythological beliefs that has a large following.
God(or Gods) is(are) defined differently in each religion. They are generally immortal beings of greater power than a human, but, in many cases, have a humanlike personality, or have had humans created 'in their image' (which would mean God(s) would be very closely related to the modern chimpanzee)
Religion exists, both legally, mentally, and physically.
A God or Gods most likely does not exist. If one does, I'd be willing to bet my life for eternal suffering and pain that it would have absolutely nothing to do with any practiced religion.

1- Religion is the adherence to codified beliefs and rituals that generally involve a faith in a spiritual nature and a study of inherited ancestral traditions, knowledge and wisdom related to understanding human life. The term "religion" refers to both the personal practices related to faith as well as to the larger shared systems of belief.
2-The name God refers to the deity held by monotheists to be the supreme reality. God is believed to be the sole creator, or at least the sustainer, of the universe.[1] As of 2007, a majority of human beings generally believe in a monotheistic God, usually in some form of the Abrahamic God of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.[2] The unifying monotheistic conception of Brahman prevailing in the henotheistic belief system of Hinduism is also significant as a representative element in humanity's belief in a supreme God.
Theologians have ascribed certain attributes to God, including omniscience, omnipotence, omnipresence, perfect goodness, divine simplicity, and eternal and necessary existence. He has been described as incorporeal, a personal being, a source of moral obligation, and the greatest conceivable existent.[1] These attributes were supported to varying degrees by the early Christian, Muslim, and Jewish scholars, including St Augustine,[3] Al-Ghazali,[4] and Maimonides.[3]
All the notable medieval philosophers developed arguments for the existence of God,[4] attempting to wrestle with the contradictions God's attributes seem to imply. The last few hundred years of philosophy have seen sustained attacks on some of the arguments for God's existence. The theist response has been either to contend, like Alvin Plantinga, that faith is not a product of reason, but is properly basic; or to pursue, like Richard Swinburne, an approach of rational apologetics.
what do you think... do they exist!!!

Religion - a philosophical sect of people who share the same core beliefs
we know this exists.
God - in most cases, described as an almighty, all knowing, and benevolent being responsible for the creation and maintainance of existance
Many people believe god (or gods) exists. I do not - though he MAY exist, there is insufficient evidence to say he does. In fact, it is more likely he DOESN'T exist. Combined with not wanting to worship the wrong god, I assume he/she to be false.

religion is the belief that there is a God.(Faith) I know they exist! I have a proposition for you. You get down on your knees and ask the Lord to come into your life, humble yourself before him, tell him you are a sinner and tell him you want to believe and pray to him that you need his help with the unbelief. You will see amazing things happen. This will be God showing you he is near and is there for his children. You are already a child of God whether or not you believe it. You do this then I want testimonies of what you seen happen! God Bless!

Yes, religion exists. It is fact and you can prove that religions exist. (Whether they are right or not is a different story.) No one can prove that God exists. You have to decide for yourself what you believe.
