It shouldn't be very hard to believe that S America and Africa were once connected. Not only that, they're still drifting apart. If and only if they were moving at the exact same rate they're moving today, it would have taken millions of years to create the Atlantic Ocean. However, since the Earth was a mess of volcanic debris before there was land, there's no telling at what point continental drift started. Given both facts that the flow of magma was there before the crust was created and that heated rock (magma) flows much faster than cooled rock (Earth's crust), continental drift was much faster as the crust cooled (jelly versus rock principle). The Atlantic most likely was formed in a few thousands of years. If the Earth's crust hasn't stopped cooling yet, the continents are still slowing down today. However, that's the case only if the currents of magma are consistent since the beginning. You're a reflection of the Earth because that's where you were born from. How you change over time reflects how the Earth changes over time. I conclude that the magma flow beneath the crust is never consistent. Bernulli's principal says that the pressure in the magma is consistent, but it says nothing about the currents that push up mountains, move continents and cause earthquakes and tsunamis. Therefore, continental drift isn't consistent either.

Largest country in south america = Brazil
2nd longest river in world = Amazon River

that’s all I can think of

-Regarding the response to the poster below me, Brazil is not the only country in south america in which spanish is not the official language. Spanish is also not the official language of Guyana, Suriname or French Guiana (all south american countries).
