Don't do it! Putting blonde on what you have already got will turn it PINK! You need to have professional strength blonde to get to the right colour. Please please go to a salon and have it done professionally. When you do go ahead with the two tone colour make sure you use a zig zag section otherwise you will just have a line around your head (great look , not). A great cut to enhance the colours you want is an asymmetric cut one side shorter that the other (if it suits your face shape) with short heavily textured layers. But again please go to a salon they will advise you best. x

Hi. I think if you want it done then you should have it done but here is my advice, its up to you whether you take it or not...
I asked the hairdresser for blonde underneath and dark on the top and that's what she did. Except she did it in a straight line at just above ear level and she used very dark and almost white blonde so when it was ties up I looked bald in front of my ears and round the back of my head. It was awful and then when I went back to get it fixed the brown wouldn't take ot the blonde and it took me about a year to grow it out so that I could have it all one colour again. So if you really want to have it done I would go to the hairdresser (at least the first time so you have a guide) and make sure you are clear as to what colours you actually want and make sure they don't do it in a silly straight line, they need to make it look as if the 2 colours blend together.
I had a picture of how I wanted it to look and it just didn't look anything like it. I would suggest you take one of your friends that have it already so that the hairdresser can see in real life what you mean.
If you want to do it yourself do a strand test on both the colours you already have, using both the dyes you've got because blonde and red don't go well and usually end up looking horrible because of the way the dye is made up. If you go to the hairdresser the first time you can floow the pattern yourself at home from then on and they will be able to advise about which dyes will and won't work etc.
Sorry this answer is so long, I just can't bear people ruining their hair!
Good luck!

no No NO!!! Do not. Red hair is gorgeous, just get it cut in a new style if you're bored of what you have! That 1/2 blonde 1/2 brown looks quite bad from what I've seen. But if you MUST I'd ask a hairdresser to do it, don't do it yourself, you might just ruin your hair. Also don't buy cheap dye, the price will show once you've dyed it.

The trend right now is dimentional color...but just the opposite of what you want. Darker hair under the back, up over the ears and under the fringe/bangs ....a medium color across the crown and the lightest color on top. These colors can go from a monochromatic look to the extreme of black underneath to blonde on top. Reds are kinda kinky with this color plan too. Talk to a good colorist before you make your decision. Your current red could cause problems if you're thinking of a home color job.

I think if you have naturally brown or blonde hair then leave it as it is or perhaps add some highlights or lowlights but if you really really want to go ahead with it, take your dye and go to your nearest hairdressers who will do it for you!!!
Good luck!

if you want to do it be carefully i done my hair like that before mine was brown on top and blond under neath then i done red on-top and black underneath the only problem is that because you have red hair it can turn out pink cause it happened to me before and i had to put another blond on it but if your going to do it you will have to use bleach because blond dye wont go on it good luck!

very nicely sweetie. i'm a nattie blonde and finished this in the previous and apparently stable on maximum all of us. I did the backside onyx black one time too. depart your eyebrows on my own via the way. changing your eyebrow coloration is many times an exceedingly undesirable concept except its an exceedingly suttle exchange. have exciting with it. and with your organic coloration, you may truly exchange lower back. stable success and have exciting. playstation the tanner you are the extra dramatic result. i understand

What kind of image/fashion statement you are projecting by doing this? Don't do it.if you want to do something different why dont u dye your hair some unusual colour instead, something that looks nice.
