An electrical control panel is used to control some machine and/or equipment. The components in a control panel depends on the machine u are controlling and what type of control u want. As far as I know there is no such book available which can cover all types of control as it is your understanding and system requirement which guides the control. You can refer to different control circuits of existing panels to build your idea, if u can get hold of such circuits.

a controll panel is basically a switch board that can be used to controll or isolate any circuit, be it your home, a production line,a power station or an aircraft. l`d have to know what you specifically needed before l set you in the right direction as your reference to autocad threw me a bit.
