is it normal that i can feel my heartbeat in my tummy?

and i can see it too when i hold my breath...

is that normal?

Yes you can feel it beat in your tummy. The descending aorta turns into the abdominal aorta at about your belly button. You should be able to take a deep breath, suck your stomach in and feel your pulse by pushing in a little on your stomach just above the belly button. If you are feeling faint, weak, or that your pulse/heart is racing go see your doctor. If you feel normal you probably have nothing to worry about.

When I feel a tummy heartbeat, it usually means my blood sugar is too high/too low or I have just exercised hard. It is called the apex beat, and is a known medical phenomenon - neither normal nor abnormal (it just is). Don't know about the holding breath thing, though - never tried it.

yeah your hurt is a pounding motion i Can sometimes feel it in my arm its weird but normal if Ur freaked out like i was just go ask a doctor lol but its quite normal! i just remembered that is why doctors put the stethoscope on Ur tummy to here Ur heart beat!
