It's funny you should mention this, though not the penguins. Where I live, there is an in-ground cultural belief that has drivers swerving on the edges of rocky mountain roads in order to hit poor little hedgehogs. The reason being that it is though that at night they get up to no good by stealing into the chicken-house and having rampant sex with the hens!
Though what the result is I can not imagine - and neither have I seen!

No, I'm sorry, they don't get along at all. Hedgehogs think penguins walk funny. There will never be peace in their world. Always war.
