It means Israel has a far better trained and equipped military and the incentive of fighting for their own survival.

I once spoke to an instructor at the US Military Academy in West Point. He taught the Six Day War. His comment was that in every scenario he and his students (over 12 years) could create, Israel had no business winning it, from a strictly military standpoint.
Perhaps an even greater victory occurred 7 years later in the Yom Kippur War. Then, the armies of Syria and Egypt had ruptured the Israeli defense and move 20-50 miles past...yet Israel was able to recover and within 2 weeks was in artillery range of both Cairo and Damascus with nothing in front of them but open desert....and the UN.
It's a shame. If Israel had been permitted to finish the job in either 1967 or 1973, much of what has happened since likely would be fiction....including the Islamic revolution in Iran and the current war on terror.

Hezbollah didn't win the war with Israel in 34 days. The UN made Israel pull out. Nothing would be left of Lebanon if Israel had wanted it that way. Israel wants peace, but the surrounding nations hate Israel and keep the terrorism going. There is an Islamic agenda to take out Israel. But Israel wins in the end and Jesus sets up His kingdom in Jerusalem. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Your error in logic and the answer to your question lies in your belief that Israel fought WITHOUT the help of the US. We sell our best military equipment to Israel, and provide our best military training to them. Israel has a highly advanced military with excellent training, and probably the BEST intelligence service in the world. Israeli soldiers well understand discipline, order, tactics, etc. Their foes represent the opposite end of the military spectrum. Fighting those four nations really isn't that difficult when you have the right equipment and the right training. In fact the opposite may be true that the belief in God actually worked against the Arabs in a major way. Anger seriously clouds the mind and erodes discipline and the wise use of battlefield tactics. It may be the Muslim hysteria about fighting God's war (the Holy war) seriously blinded them to the correct military tactics and intelligence, and hurt their fighting preparedness, organization, and power.

"... without help from the US"??? Give us a break. Israel has been on the American tit since the day it declared itself a state. It still is. Israel has never been independent. It is the worst moocher in the history of the human race. Both economic and military aid. If it wasn't for American support Israel would be gone in a week.

The Muslims are challenged when it comes to modern warfare. The have no imagination and like the Sand People of Star Wars, are easily startled. A country with even a flacid military such as France could blow Isreal away in less that a month.

What a crooked piece of logic again. Do you know that Alexander the Great conquered the vast empire of Persia with inferior forces? Does that mean that the Greek pantheon of gods are the true gods?
Ridiculous.

Define help from the US...seriously, despite technology and money yes they did it on their own. Im quite a war buff, and this is one of my favorites to study. u must realise 2 things...1: defense is so much easier than attack... and 2: air superiority. Of course maybe God guided their bullets :s
