Mayweather will win by close decision. DeLaHoya gets hit too often for a man that is not that big and can move pretty well. Mayweather will stay away and put more shots together enabling him to take the decision.

Delahoya is still a one handed fighter. If he can use is size to beat a better fighter then kudos to him(like Wright did to Moseley 2 times). But I will go with Mayweather who has beat bigger fighters before.

Odds in favor, Mayweather will win on a decision. But don't forget
Oscar is the bigger fighter and if he can hit Mayweather and I did say IF, he will give Floyd Jr. some problems.

Mayweather by decision. As long as Floyd doesn't try anything stupid. The hand speed is too great for Oscar to overcome and Floyd isn't a decent fighter he has spectacular talent. I just hope he doesn't keep moving up in weight. A better fight for him and more difficult will be Mosley! Capitalizing deloya name and not floyd will not change the outcome.

De la hoya will win. If he doesn't come in with the right gameplan. He is smart enough to adjust to Mayweathers style. Mayweather is just another fighter. A lot of people have shown that. He's got skills but not better than De la hoya's. Plus Mayweather will come in a lot more cautious than with his previous opponents. It's Oscar De la hoya.

This fight comes with a lot of risk for Floyd, as he could potentially be knocked out. Although he probably won't admit it, Floyd has to be wary of Oscar's punching power, and will be training to counteract and nullify that.
I, however, don't think Floyd will be knocked out.
Floyd has the superior speed, and I think he will use it to run from Oscar. Floyd has said in press conferences that he will not run from Oscar, but then again, he said he would knock out Baldomir in 5 rounds.
Also, De La Hoya has proved everything he has to in boxing. Mayweather has yet to, on account that he hasn't been severely tested yet. Up to this point, he's just been too good for everyone.
Not many people expect Floyd to win, but I think Floyd will be wary/ scared of De La Hoya's power, and will show. Floyd will box from a distance, and pot shot and counter punch his way to a split decision win over De La Hoya.

Oscar will throw the combat like he did against Sugar Shane Mosley. After the combat, Oscar would be speaking to to the commentator approximately why he misplaced the alternative. His reaction would be, "It very nicely, that's ok." Oscar is the happiest loser you ever choose to be sure after a combat. you comprehend why? B/c he has duped definitely everyone into thinking he's taken into consideration one of boxing's all time greats and you will't get a brilliant payday except you combat him. i'm hoping Mayweather knocks him out yet he won't. Mayweather would be content cloth to get the alternative.

One would only have to look at the records. Oscar only fought two good boxers, one of which he lost to twice. Al the rest were in diapers or wheel chairs.
One of those boxing commissions or associations should step in and and do like they did with Hollyfield, basically say "we don't want anyone getting killed here".
