Yeah I know, it's so bad. Peanut Poppets have disappeard, Jolly Ranchers did too, but then I found them in this shop in Covent Garden that imports.
I swear they don't even ask the public on their opinion, we are the buyers, we should atleast be informed of their decisions. A lot of people would be against the discontinuation of certain lines.
I was so annoyed when I found out they stopped doing the Double Chocolate Magnums (not the caramel ones).

Sometimes, when I get nostalgic. If you watch the Food Network, they once had an episode of Unwrapped where they were in a store that made and sold a lot of the candies that were no longer being made by the original company. I wish I could remember the name of the store, but they had soooo many things I remember from when I was little. One thing I really miss and can't find are peanut butter filled Funny Bones.

That's right- they sneak them out of production and it's only later that you think- hey where did they go? Apparently Lion Bars are the next chocolate bar to be given the chop! Too much sugar and fat apparently for today's market!!! Piffle! If only these chocolate companies would bring back those golden oldies- even if for a limited run- we could all relive our youth!

Yes, tootsie roll candy had a shot at big time fame about 15 to 20 years ago with a
TOOTSIE BAR
that was the best you could ever eat. It was at Halloween time and I bought a couple of boxes for treats and soon after never saw them again

a lot of them just change there names...
eg. "snickers" used to be "marathon"
can't think of any more off the top of my head, but i'll edit this post when i think of more (if I don't forget!)
peanut poppets had to be taken off the market coz there were too many kids developing nut alergies (why this means only the peanut poppets had to be taken off the market i don't know?!?)
WISPA has not gone out of production, they still sell them up in the north west, they just don't think the southerners deserve them
in fact, most of the things people are mentioning on here i can buy at my local corner shop, in adswood, stockport... north west uk, walnut whips, cans of nescafe (fuckin awful stuff nescafe!), tutti fruitis, etc...
try heading out of your nice little posh areas, and find a sweet shop/off lisence/newsagents on a council housing estate - i promise we won't mug you :D
check the cadburys website for a full list of all there products, but be warned, this site is really SLOW...
GOLDEN WONDER got bought by walkers, so they don't exist anymore - I haven't eaten crisps since...

In the US there are alot of web sites that still carry hard to find candies. It may not be that they are no longer in production, they just may not be found in your area. I'm not sure if such web sites and companies are in the UK. Do a little on line research and see what you can find.

Walnut Whips, haven't seen them in years!!!
The self-heating cans of Nescafe coffee, expensive but I liked them!
Lucky Charms, I have to get them sent over from America now.
Growing up sucks :-(

In Scotland, we have shops that sell all the old fashioned sweets, do they have these where you live?
The personal pronoun I always has a capital letter!
So does I've.
