Eggs have protein that our bodies need, but the problem with them is they are high in cholestrol. If you can afford egg substitutes, than I would certainly recommend them. If you still want really eggs, than I would only use the egg whites mainly and limit the yolks you eat. For ever 8 eggs you eat, I would included only 2 yokes as that is the part of the egg that has the "bad parts" that will raise cholestrol.

Eggs are a good source of protein. They only have about 90 calories per egg (2 points each for Weight Watchers). I find them to be a good healthy choice a couple times a week. However, yolks are high in cholesterol- If you have an issue beware. Egg whites are completely healthy and have no cholesterol. Many people eat egg white omelets as a healthy start to the day, however, I only like eggs with the yolks.

Depends on what diet you are on. If you are on the South Beach Diet or the Atkins Diet or some protein diet, yes. Use them sparingly, though, on a diet where you are counting fat grams. Usually, dieters will just eat the egg white, not the yolk. (The yolk is where all the fat is.)

They are excellent. High in protein, low on calories eggs make an excellent choice. You can mix in veggies for omelets and the like. They are high in cholesterol, but with light to moderate exercise there is no bodily increase. Eat away.

Eggs have a lot of good things in them but the yolk of the egg is very high in cholesterol and fat.

If you can remove the yolk from the egg, then yes, they're good.

In a nutrition class that I took the instructor said that people should eat no more than 3 eggs per week due to the high cholesterol/fat in the yolk.

Egg whites in moderation if your dieting so they say.

I don't diet but I have one egg (including yolk) a few times a week and doesn't seem to effect my health negatively

As part of a balanced diet, eggs are fine.

Eggs only? you'd get sick!
Eat fruits, veggies, and proteins for a good diet.
Most "naturally thin" people eat correct portion sizes, those that don't either have kick *** genes or are not thin.
Don't starve yourself either.

They're a very rich source of protein and little fat. Depends on the type of diet you're on and what you're trying to cut back on.
