Very often if someone has breast cancer there is no pain. Pain can be due to many things for instance hormonal changes whilst a teenager and sometimes a cyst which is harmless. I have had breast cancer and I felt a small lump the size of a pea and there was no pain whatsoever. I had radiotherapy and that was about 13 years ago and I'm still here. As the other answer said, please do check very gently for a lump and if there is no lump and she is still worried do go to your doctor to confirm she is okay. I am sure she will be fine but examination of the breasts should take place at least every 3 - 6 months because if it is caught early it can make a lifetime's difference. Please be patient and understanding because the big thing here is not to worry. Best wishes to your sister and as I said before I'm sure she wll be fine.

I had no pain with my lumps which were breast cancer. I would go to a dr to be safe though.

I agree with J*me.
But when you're feeling for lumps, feel for small round lumps. If you ever felt a bee-bee gun's pellets, that's the type of lump you would be worried about.
If you just feel odd shaped lumps, it could just be fibroids. This is actually common in females.
But she should still go to the doctor to get checked out.
I really hope this helped you some.

i had a painful lump in my left breast which turned out to be cancerous. so, take her to the dr, who will probably order a mammogram and ultrasound. if there are suspicious findings, then the dr will refer her to a surgeon for a biopsy. if the biopsy shows cancerous cells, then she'll probably have to have a lumpectomy, which is an outpatient procedure.

Ok this might be a little odd but put her arms up in the air and feel for lumps...not kidding...if you feel something not normal go to your doctor... if you are really worried...go to your doctor anyway. It could be growing pains but she better get checked!!!!

Uterine fibroids are usually not dangerous, but can cause immense discomfort and lead to complications like anemia from heavy blood loss. In rare cases, they may cause complications that affect pregnancy.
In cases where there are no symptoms, treatment may not be necessary. However, proper diagnosis and treatment may be required if your symptoms are severe or causing complications. Along with conventional treatment, you can try some natural home remedies. Read here https://tr.im/k4wkZ
