I think about the global climate changing. I not belive what they predict will happen in the next 100 year regarding water levels, temperature etc. I belive it happens already in the comming 25 years. Its same all the world leaders suddenly start acting. Do you think they know more than us, or maybe they will not make panic to us so they not tell the truth. I don't know, but anyway I can here where I live feel a vere difference in the weather over the last 8 years

i spent a year in Antarctica with the national science foundation yes our polar caps are melting. they could never fully melt the scientist. where telling me that the same stuff happend millons of years ago hey can tell from old ice cores. there is nothing the leaders of the world can do. we simply cant just stop driveing cars. its not gonna fix its self in a few years.but the good news is we have alot of time before it gets really bad. go to www.polar.org it will redirect you to a raytheon site . with links to national science foundation

Yes, I'm in Western Massachusetts and the winters here have been starting later and later and ending sooner and sooner and there's been less and less snowfall, I KNOW global warming can be solved in a way everyone will be happy with from the most dedicated environmentalist to the greediest capitalist we just need to figure out that way, it's just going to take a lot innovation and vision. And one last thing, I hate how people argue over if it's man made or not, that doesn't even MATTER if the effects are the same! I have a feeling it's both man made and natural but that doesn't even matter, the solution will defiantly have to be man made.

I am old enough to remember the unbelievably bad winters in the late 70s/early 80s in the US. I remember people wondering what was going on.
My grandfather wondered what was going on in the 30s when the dust bowl happened.
People in the 200 BC to 400 AD range reported that winters were much milder in Europe than they used to be.
But by 540 AD snow was falling in Southern Europe in June. By 800 AD people started thinking God was blotting out the sun. Crops failed for centuries. This contributed greatly to the decline of civilization from 500 AD to 1000 AD.
However the Vikings farmed Greenland into the 1400s. They left after the winters kept getting worse and worse until they couldn't grow anything anymore. Crops in Scotland (which used to be great for farming) began to fail too.
By the 1600s it was getting so bad it stalled the settling of the New World. Snow in July in Virginia. The horrendous winters that the pilgrims wrote about - this was in the now mild mid-atlantic. The Indians told them that their stories passed down have told of winters getting worse over the last 200 or so years. The Thames river in London froze.
You are not the first to notice global climate change. You won't be the last.

The weather has cycles and this one is no different. I think the 'changes' are more due to a better communication system than anything to get too excited about.

It is amazing that there is so much controversy with whether it will be hot or cold. I believe that the world need to adapt to the change that we have caused it with our technological advancement.
