They are all cute breeds! Doxies are a very needy breed and love to be with you all the time. You also have to really watch their weight as an over weight Doxie can have serious back issues later down the line. They should not climb stairs if at all possible, nor jump up on the furniture or this too can cause back issues. It's not uncommon for this breed to slip a disk in their backs and this will cause temporary paralysis in the hind legs--worst case scenario, permanent paralysis. They are a yappy dog too--a little dog with a big dog complex. They tend to disembowel stuffed toys due to their high prey drive.
They are great little dogs, but do require weight watching to ensure they don't go over and a feeding schedule is best so they don't over eat. My vet says ours is very sweet, but that others she has seen are not so much. In her experiences, the short haired doxie's are more tempermental where the long haired (ours) and the wire haired are more sweet in nature.

I'm partial to West Highlands, Dachshunds and Chihuahuas...only because I've had experience with all of them. They're the sweetest little things. Very loyal and loving.
My friend had a beagle and she was sweet too, although I don't have too much experience with those. My dad's friend has a JRT and he's NUTS! They have a lot of energy so they need to run around to let it out. They can be aggressive, but then again so can every dog. It all depends on the owner how they react to people. I have no idea about Yorkies...I think they're sweet too but I've never had one so I can't be of any help with that. Good luck with whatever you choose!

Chihuahua. I have 2 short coat chi's, and they are so beautiful. They are also very sweet, and will be totally devoted to you. They are also very friendly with everyone and everybody if properly socialized from an early age. My 2 live with 4 small kids, a bulldog, a cat, and an assortment of other furry animals, and they get along great with all of them. My 2 also like to go bye bye with me, and love the attention they get from strangers when we are out. They are just people dogs, and they love to be with their people more than anything. I think they are the best dogs ever. If you get a short or smooth coat then they are pretty easy to keep groomed, but they also have a long coat if you prefre long coats and have more time to put into grooming the dog.

The Yorkie is the cutest! They are friendly, they do require grooming but they can wear Little Pebbles type pony tails to keep their hair out of their little eyes.I've known several Yorke's and they are all very friendly.A girl dog can be trained to use pee pad so you don't always have to take them out side in snow of rain. the don't mind being dressed up in little coats and or boots. Don't laugh at the boots as their little feet can get frost bitten of in rainy weather bring in muddy little foot prints on your nice clean carpet.

Yorkies are adorable, but need A LOT of TLC. If you're looking to 100% spoil your puppy, go for a yorkie. I have one. But I also have a JRT (he's mixed with chihuahua though..but dont think thats a weird picture, the only chihuahua in him is his color. Lol). He's SOOOO adorable and loves to kiss and play..easily housebroken. He totally fights for my attention if i'm playing with the Yorkie..and he's very protective. If I had to pick between recommending a yorkie and a JRT, i'd go for a JRT. West Highlands are cute, too..but i'm only recommending based on the ones I currently own.

Personal opinion - Westie. They have so much animation and character in their faces. I have shown Daschunds, they are neat little dogs as well, being a hound they tend to follow their noses alot. The yorkie and westie require alot of grooming time and money. The rest of your list are short haired dogs, except maybe the JRT they tend to come in 3 coats types - smooth, broken and wire. All of them are intelligent and willing to learn if taught proper behaviour.

Beagle. In my opinion. Why are you asking an opinionated question? Yahoo Answers are for people to discover NEW things not state their opinion all the time. How are you going to choose an unbiased, fair best answer from this lot? You're only going to pick the dog that YOU like. Jeezzz...

I used to have yorkie whilst they grow older and are complete grown they're approximately 6-7 kilos, as infants approximately four kilos. they're cute and lovable, however high priced i purchased mine for $three hundred greenbacks and it used to be orginally $500, they're very candy puppies, the one factor is you have got to make certain to shop for one already potty proficient or train it instantly since in any other case you are going to on no account be competent to quit getting them from peeing within the apartment. Also they're very suitable with different puppies in case you do get one you could wish to get a male they have a tendency to be much less moody.

As far as cutest, I'd have to say the Beagle (13") then the JRT (Parson's Terrier).
I've never owned any of them, but my mother-in-law had a Westie for 16 yrs. and it was a pain to keep her clean.
