for some reason, it became very uncool to be straight forward with alot of people. if you come across as such, some people will see that as desperation. if you try and take your time, some people interpret it as being uninterested... hard question... but true to yourself... either way...

Okay... This happens to me as well...
Basically, there are certain factors...
1stly, Its because we are shy... Some of us even get dumbfounded upon interacting with who we fancy...
2ndly, we don't want to make a wrong move and thus not even start a move...( Includes talking )
3rdly, we do not have experience ( Some )... Thus, not knowing what the ladies want... And not willing to take failure...
4thly, we might want to increase her tension of getting to miss us, thus increases the chances of her asking herself whether she needs him in life...
There are boundless of answers but these are the best few... =)

Because if your shy then going up and telling a girl you like her is a very hard thing, so its natrual to become quiet.
I get blood shocked eyes when I try to ask a girl out its so annoying?
"Butter up the bread and serve up the cooked children?" "No, I mean corned beef."

yeah all of a sudden we get really shy when we like a girl till we try to spend more time around them but some get out of it in there teens
