Depending on what you have..

Hanging your plasma on the wall or projector??

I have used mouldings, wall pass-through, under-carpetting to conceal wiring (power, speaker and other A/V wires) to do my current home theather.

The best (and the most destructive and labor-intensive) is of course in-wall.

If your trying to hide the wires a good way of doing it is to install a wall panel (try partsexpress.com) that has connections for as many speakers you need then run the speaker wire from there to the front and surround speakers through the attic dropping the wire at the designated spot you want (you may need a friend to help you out on this part). Then just plug up the reciever to the wall plug. You will need a drill with a hole saw to drill through any 2x4 that the wires will need to pass through and a drywall saw or knife to open the hole in the wall you will mount the speaker connections. If you have a 2 story home and you are trying to conceal the wires it is a lot more work simply because you cannot access the 2floor to run the wires. you would have to then find a flat speaker wire that can be taped to the wall and painted over it

you are only going to do it once, do it right, put the wires in the wall and/ or ceiling
