Anwen sounds like Bronwen which I like for a female. For a male it sounds like an African American name like Antwon.

I think it sounds strange I agree with the statement that it reminds me of an elf name. I was just going to say that too. It seems like maybe it should be spelled different but I can't figure out a better way to spell it....

I dont like it. Is it for a girl or boy (sounds a bit like Anne and Wendy put together). Why dont you go for a traditional English name.
