Feeling sad will and can drain your energy that is normal. You control how you feel did you know that? You have a choice to be hapy today or sad which will it be today? The blues can only control you if you let you are the boss of your feelings not the blues. The blues can knock at your door you have to be the one to open and let it come in (meaning) when you start feeling like you don't what's wrong guess what? there is nothing wrong. when you feel the need to cry your heart out for no reason at all and you don't even know why do not cry instead watch agood movie not a sad one or scary one just a good movie to make you smile or laugh (just a suggestion) choose to be happy because the choice believe it or not is yours.

heyyas, sadness is normal but when the feeling persists and each day it gets worse and worse, you'll realise that something is very wrong. I've been through depression and like you said, i felt tired and sad all the time. worse still, most people thought it was just moodiness or a phase i could grow out of. like a sick person could get well by simply wishing it. it's hard. sometimes it feels lonely as if the world is against you. u smile, and the world will smile with you. u cry and the world will cry with you. that's bcoz your whole perspective about the world has changed. try talking to someone, a listening ear is all you need. that's why some people seek refuge to God even tho He nvr replies.
sincerely,
ur angel

Be Happy!

I know this isn't the answer you want to hear as it's so simple you cannot understand it. Isn't that ironic? The simpler i make it, the less you understand it!
Being happy is quite simple in itself. Just do it! Stop feeling sad (or should i say harshly; sorry for yourself), and get out there and make yourself laugh or smile!!

I don't know your past history or in fact, why you may be feeling sad, but sadness is just another unnecessary emotion that us humans have to deal with and move on. I cannot express it any simpler....BE HAPPY!

It worked for me.

quick fix would be for people to tell you to get on anti depressants which i found never worked. so keep things in balance and get up early and get exercise . do you have a pet ? i usually take a run with the dog. eat healthly and do you work? i think if i keep things in balance and don't play video games for hours or play on computer non stop i am better. pick up the phone or go out amoung people ect. and don't spend a bunch of time sleeping if you sleep too long it makes you lazy. try to socialize that helps being with people but hang in there and things will get better . at the end you may need anti depressants i hear they do work. but try to get on a good schedule .

Sure do. First you got to identify what is getting u so down. Is it depression? Perhaps its your diet, it is possible. Look at the facts and determine what it is that is making you depressed and change it. Feeling lonely? Talk. Boredom? Take up a new activity. Like I said, find the problem, correct it.

if u are sad all the time than it's a very big problem. i suggest u to go out and have fun and if u don't want to go out u just try to call your best friend and tell your problem i m sure she will help u out but i think that u have another big problem because u are so sad.

There is some good advice in the other answers here to take note of but just remember that all our experiences- good and bad, teach us something. If u don't know what it is now, u might look back on it later on and it will be clearer to you.

If there was no bad, we wouldn't know what good was! (nothing to compare)
