(on the other side of the case) i just kindly need to know the effects on the child if a single parent, in this case, only a father, is the only one taking care of his child.

(For both your questions)

I believe that a single parent of either sex, or any parent for that matter, needs to be loving, supportive, and communicative with their children. There will be most likely be difficult times, financially or emotionally, as with two parents. However, the single parent has to deal with it alone. It's important that your children do not feel responsible for the parents stress.
There will be times when the the children will feel the difference of only having one parent, and the parent needs to listen to them, and recognize their feelings. I remember my eldest son crying when he was 9 or 10...and he told me, "You're a great mom, but there just some things that you can't do...like teach me how to works on cars and stuff." It just really tugged at my heart. I didn't have any girls, but I'm sure if a girl is being raised by her father only, similar issues are raised.
Most of all I think that being honest, loving, supportive, and being able to communicate is really important, so that if the children do have issues arise, you can help through it.

It is fine the child can grow up to be a great person if the father instills a sense of respect and good moral values. there are alot of single parents these days and i feel they can do just as good a job of it as two, if they work hard and get to know the child very well as they grow up.

If the father is the one taking care, then the father is the one the child will emulate. Let us hope the father is a loving one :)

To be honest I don't think there are any long term effects. Just as long as the child is being loved and cared for properly.
