First of all the Holy Ghost is Not the 3rd person of the trinity, The Holy Ghost is the Same Spirit that God is, only working in the office as the Comfortor, Now to answer you, In Hebrews it says that once we have come into the knowledge of the Truth & we walk away from it, there remains no more sacrifice for our sins, Now read it as I wrote it, They Knew that it was true, But because let's say Grandpaw throws a fit because you have came into the knowledge of the truth & you walk away from it because you don't want to hurt papaw feelings, Then God will withdraw that spirit of Truth from you. Now I know the question comes up, what about the backsliders, They never came into the full knowledge of the truth, therefore they can come back to God. So once God withdraws that spirit of conviction from you, & you commit the unpardonable sin, Then God will never deal with you again, & you won't ever have a desire to live for God. Many people has ask, how do I know if I done the unpardonable sin, Friend whoever does that sin, God will NEVER deal with that person again, so if anyone out there are not sure & you are concerned, That shows me that you have not committed that sin, because that concern is the spirit of God still dealing with you.

Dreamer:
You lost me when you said: ' the only unpardonable sin is to blapheme the third person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit. ''
Why is it fixed only for the third spirit. If you accept Jesus (Allah Forgive me) as your saviour and the son then why only the father. Don't you think he should also have the same previlegies if he were as you say he is.
Yes i do agree that as a true prophet of God he deserves full respect, more than what we can give. But i also believe he was a Human just like all of us. The only difference was that he was born without a father as Allah "God" created Adam without any parents and Eve from Adam.
And i don't think he is or will be punished for mine or anyother person's sins. Why should he be?
Why would God punish one of his beloved prophet for those sins that he preached against?
Why would anyone be punished for another's sins?
Would you like to be punished for a murder, rape or theift or any other major crime that your brother or even father did?
Would that be fair if the police arrests you, even though you are a kind, law biding and lovely person, and puts you in prison?
I would say that's "Unfair" and "Unjust" and i am sure Allah "God" is none of those.
A Hadit (Words of the Holly Prophet Mohammd) states that : Allah "God" will forgive any sins if you ask for forgivness till the day the sun rises from the west.
Peace be upon Mohammad, Essa (Jesus), Mariam (Marry) and Musa (Moses) and all the other prophet.

When the scripture is interpreted literary it can seem very confusing and contradictory. God/ The Creator uses His form as the Holy Spirit to communicate with the essence (His likeness) in us. I understand denying the Holy Spirit to mean refusing to accept your very own essence. If you deny this you sever all communion with the Holy Trinity and it is not God who does not forgive you this but rather you who burns all the bridges to ever know the truth. To put it another way I'll try relate it to Alcoholics Anonymus rituals (phsychologically approved, scientifically proven and widely practised) or any other physical and mental addiction in this instance. Unless you first accept that you are an addict and verbally confess it, you will never truly lose the addiction as you find excuses and fault another for your predicament. Likewise, unless you accept that you are created in Gods image and the Spirit is part of it, you will never truly know yourself or understand God (the Trinity). Have you ever been faced with a dilemma and know you have two choices? Your mind says stand up for yourself (worldly way of resolving conflict) by attacking/ threatening - verbally or physically yet, there seems to be another voice within contradicting you and advising you to walk away (Spiritual understanding of cause and effect). It's not worth it! The more in tune you are with the Spirit within you, the easier it gets to turn the other cheek; not out of fear or self-preservation but from a deep knowledge and understanding of the cause of whatever you are witnessing and the effects of your reaction at that crucial moment. Wars are created because we have learnt to silence and disobey the voice of reason - The Holy Spirit. I think this is the reason this particular sin is unforgivable. It is not life affirming. Hope this helps.

The case of "blasphemy against the Spirit" in the New Testament is mentioned in Mark 3:22-30 and in Matthew 12:22-32. The term blasphemy may be generally defined as "defiant irreverence." We would apply the term to such sins as cursing God, or willfully degrading things relating to God. It is also attributing some evil to God, or denying Him some good that we should attribute to Him. This case of blasphemy, however, is a specific one, called "THE blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" in Matthew 12:31. In Matthew 12:31-32, the Pharisees, having witnessed irrefutable proof that Jesus was working miracles in the power of the Holy Spirit, claimed instead that the Lord was possessed by the demon "Beelzebub" (Matthew 12:24). Now notice that in Mark 3:30 Jesus is very specific about what exactly they did to commit "the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit."
God Bless You

Dear Friend.
The Holy Spirit is the helper and guide that the Lord imparts to us.
Let us examine the scriptures:
Mark3:28 I tell you the truth, all the sins and blasphemies of men will be forgiven them. 29But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin."
Jesus had just performed a miracle when he had made this statement, but the witnesses to this miracle said that he must have been possessed by Satan to do this, Jesus replied:
Mark 3:23"How can Satan drive out Satan? 24If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come. 27In fact, no one can enter a strong man's house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man.
This demonstrates what a sin against the Holy Spirit is, If you have received Christ as your Savior, and you know that he is the son of the one true God, and witnessed his wonders and working for yourself, and yet you still deny his existence, when you know that this is a lie, then you sin against the holy spirit.
I hope this answers your question
God Bless
P.s. read the book of Mark, it is a great place to learn about Christs' life and teachings

If you dont accept the Holly Spirit is like you will never gonna accept your existence and that you live for God. If you don't believe in the Holly Spirit you deny your charisma of having free will. That charisma is the source for your enlightment. You will see around the world that people are used to blaspheme the God , Jesus and Mother Mary however you will NEVER encounter a blesphemy for Holly Spirit. For the Christian Orthodoxs (i am one of them) this is the worst sin.

In the particular case that was cited, the Pharisees accused Jesus of doing miracles through the power of the devil.
In fact He did them through the power of the Holy Spirit.
That was considered as blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, giving credit to the devil for the work of the Holy Spirit.

Many people argue this issue all the time. Jesus didn't make it clear. Many believe it is taking credit for some miracle God has performed. When God created the earth, the Spirit moved and then God said....So, it is at best, a guess. If you live your life to God and do his will and not the will of what some pastor or other "church" leader tells you, the Spirit won't lead you to go against God's commands. (It has absolutely NOTHING to do with cursing or using God's name in vein! or the Holy Spirits name in vein.)

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is the one unforgivable sin. It means that you harden your heart against the conviction from the Holy Spirit and deny Him. In essence, it means you deny God. Only God knows when you have hardened your heart so much that the Holy Spirit will no longer contend with you.
