How do you get a double chin from an overbite? I have had an overbite, but don't have a double chin because of it (and I am overweight).

You should do chin-ups.

To be honest, my girlfriend also has one and has had this from birth as you can see in her baby pics. She is actually very skinny so it really is nothing to do with your weight, just something you have to live with.

If it is particularly bad, you could consult a plastic surgeon but that is pushing things to the extreme.

I personally would leave it because you may think it is a problem, but other people will not see this.

1. Tilt your head up and look at the ceiling
2. While your head is still tilted, open your jaw.
3. Tighten your jaw as you close your mouth. You will feel the muscles on your chin working.

Do 2-3 sets of 15 a day. Hope it helps!

When you get into bed, lie flat on your back, without a pillow for at least 5 minutes before going to sleep & then sleep with only one pillow.
In the morning, put your teeth together in an exaggerated smile and wash your face & neck.
Then during the day, stare at the ceiling with your mouth closed (to strengthen the muscle under your chin).

This may sound strange, but I have totally strengthened my jaw line and neck skin by doing strenuous exercises with weights, where i have to make a exaggerated grimace with my face to lift the weight through the movement .
If you look at the body builders , their jowls and chin line are very distinct.
