If so, what was it like?

I'm a little curious about what it's like to die. The problem is, suicide is a sin, and death permanent.

you can't see what's on the other side. an nde is exactly that, NEAR DEATH. not totally dead. your brain is still firing neurons hence the white light experience.

The problem is also that the near death experience can be not more than a mind experience. Please note that the mind is much more waste and powerful thing that we can imagine.
To see your body (be out of your body) is nothing for the mind. Very easy job to do, to go out and see outer or inner places. The real issue is to go out of time and space!

I think you should enjoy your life. Don't get tied down to rules and regulations dictated by mankind, no. Break free, and enjoy yourself.

* Climb a hill and look out at the beauty of the world falling away below you with the fresh air on your skin.
* Stand in the winter snow with no shoes or socks on and feel how soft the snow feels, and the sweet bite of the cold on your toes.
* Find someone who makes your heart jump and hold on to them, feel their warmth and feel their breath on your cheek. Hold on and close you eyes.

You don't know when you will die, and if you kill time by worrying about death, time will kill you back.

* I have been neare death many times, but never axctually died, so I have not had a near death experience because those people have actually died.

The problem with suicide is that sooner or later the person will be reborn again to face the same challenges that lead them to take their own life, so it is pointless to even think this.*

My mother told me about a pastor we all knew when I was growing up. This man was a man of God. This is a true story, it is not hallucinations, drugs etc it was a real death experience not near death, but actual death. A few years ago this pastor named Darell Watson had a heart attack and when his spirit left his body he suddenly found himself in a large room with no walls and then heard a voice behind him which said "In my Fathers house there are many rooms" He turned around at the voice of Jesus and Jesus did let him know it was not his time yet. He found himself back in his body at the hospital with his family around him slapping his face saying wake up Darell, wake up. He said he did not want to come back. I do not blame him. He told his wife that he loved her, but he loved Jesus more and wanted to be with him more. His wife understood that as she is a christian who loves the Lord. Darell died and went home to glory a couple of years later, and now he is with Jesus in Heaven.Do not commit suicide yes it is a sin, and you will find yourself in a place you wish you were not in, a pace called hell. Yes I want to go home to Heaven but I have to wait my turn like everybody else, who is a christian. Do you have a relationship with Jesus? If not maybe you need to. Jesus is your best friend and Jesus wants to help you. Jesus is awsome and is worth it. Jesus is the best and so is his Father. The rapture is not too far away, I just have to wait until then. I may not have to taste death, as I will be transported alive into Heaven, before the tribulation. Trust Jesus to get you through your problems. Include Jesus in your daily life. Have you exepted him as your Lord and Savior, because without Jesus you will not see Heaven..

Yes, it's called DREAMING. You partly die every time you sleep, your body shuts down, need for food and water is dimished, breathing becomes shallower and you can no longer feel your body.

I've never had anything else.
