If you're ugly but want to build you're confidence,should you accept the fact that you're ugly?or should you believe that you're not ugly?

I'm not a good looking guy but I really want to work on self-esteem and start dating girls......I asked a lot of questions about it but I always get these two answers
1-no one is ugly...........
2-accept the fact that you're not good looking and work on other things to make up

If you´re ugly there are always ways to make you look better, things that help: first of all white,nice, clean, good teeth; nice haircut, update your look.
These are things you can do for your outside. Inside the possibilities are endless, a charming personality, self confidence, etc, all this can brake standards and certainly will get waht you want.
i think you should work both, you are who you are but averyone can improve, the results will come along.

Believe it or not, but how you see yourself appearance wise will be a little different through other people's eyes. What I mean is that if you want to accept the fact that you think you're ugly; that's fine. Doesn't mean every girl will agree with you. Part of being confident is being proud of yourself and expressing that pride through your actions and words. Confidence is something you build REGARDLESS if your handsome or not. I've known men and women both who were stunning, but where as timid as a newborn bunny. So do I believe you should accept the fact that you're ugly...sure for now. Understand however, that when you look into the mirror with a feeling of confidence, you just might see what some girls will see in you. That you're not that bad looking after all. Well dear. Beuty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Sometimes we might feel ugly but in reality there is someone who finds us smart looking. I guess the only thing that can boost your self esteem if not your look. You should not feel inssecure about yourself. You cannot change the way you look but you can change the way others look at you. Do not spend time thinking how ugly you are try and spend time to know the real you because sometimes looks do not matter to many RATIONAL people.

Self-esteem will not come from your outer appearance but from inside so I think you ought to believe you're good looking but also realize there's much more to dating women than looks. ... Maybe you should accept the fact that you are ugly only on the outside... If you won't accept that fact, you would just turn away from the truth. ACCEPT it! But in accepting the fact, you must not think bad about yourself. Instead, think that God gave you that because He thinks its best for you and you should not be shy of what He has given you..
