I don't know which country you are from, but you are wrong. There are many countries in the world with 100 or more languages spoken within their borders. Papua New Guinea has almost 900 languages; Indonesia has over 500 languages; the Philippines, China, India, Nigeria, and Brazil each has about 200 languages. Ethiopia, Chad, Cameroon, Vanuatu, Peru, Colombia, Congo (both of them), and Mexico also have a huge level of linguistic diversity within their borders. It is not a sign of intelligence or creativity or divine blessing, but a simple geographical fact. Linguistic diversity increases along the Equator in fertile hilly, mountainous, or island regions. It's just a simple linguistic fact.

No its not creativity of god or symbol of knowledge rofl (I'm guessing you're American??)
You speak English because you are English, along with a mixture of other European countries. The British were the most powerfull European country at the time, and we were out exploring when we came across this huge vacant landscape. So we colonised it. We colonised what is now the US, and along with France(I think) we colonised Canada. Why do you think you all speak European languages.
The you American's went and changed some of the spellings of our words just to prove that you had a different language.
