That depends on what you like to do and what your budget is like.

If you are beachy people, the caribbean is lovely. My favorite island is St. Maarten, but Barbados is fun if you want more of a nightlife. Mexico is also lovely and inexpensive. Cancun and Cozumel is so much fun as are the areas along the "Mexican Riviera" which include Mazatlan and Acapulco.

If you prefer more of a city escape, I would suggest maybe Boston or New York City in the US or perhaps London or Paris in Europe. Keep in mind that hotels in all of these cities will be pricey, but if you can get a package, sometimes you can get a better rate.

Another option is cruises. Cruises are so much fun and there is something for everything. They have spas, nightclubs, theatres, comedy clubs, casinos and more on board the ship. When you are in port, there are so many options of things to do like snorkling, shopping, sightseeing, scuba diving, etc as well as specialized tours to the area. For example, cruises that go to the Yucatan Penninsula in Mexico include tours of the Mayan Pyramids. Another bonus for cruises is that all of your food is included and you get to visit different places without having to pack and unpack your suitcases. This can, in some cases, give you the most bang for your money.

Whatever you choose, have fun! :)

Since you asked about the Caribbean, I'm assuming that's what you are looking for. The Dominican Republic is the new hot spot for all-inclusive vacations in the Caribbean. The beaches are great and since this is an up-and-coming area there are many new hotels. Absolutely the most romantic Caribbean destinaton would be Turks & Caicos - incredible beaches - but very pricey.

I'd recommend the Paradisius Real in Punta Cana D.R. Mexico is also lovely, but I'd recommend an all-inclusive resort along the Riviera Maya rather than in Cancun proper.

If you are looking for a romantic European destination, then I'd recommend Venice. If you're looking for more of a resort destination then I'd recommend something in Turkey - Kusadasi, Marmaris, or Bodrum - beautiful resorts and a great value as they are not yet on the Euro so your Pound Sterling should really go far. That would apply to Mexico or the DR as well.

Depends what you're looking for but I would say The Seychelles. It's the most amazing place and truly romantic.

For Europe, looking for the most romantic city - I'd say Rome (not Paris as everyone suggests).
