pompano, what have you got to hide that you wouldn't sign the wavier? Hmmmm? Were you dishonrably discharged? What a shame because vets and active military get good healthcare and Rx plan.

Sam, i don't know why my question 'disgusts' you and why you call me 'yellow belly' I am just asking because I am not a vet--i hear people complaining about cuts-and I want to know. JEEZ! Get a grip!

I always read where people complain about their benefits being cut and so I went to talk to my neighbors about it. One is retired SF and the other was an officer during Vietnam that lost both legs and is now in a wheelchair. Both of them said that their benefits are BETTER now than they were under Clinton and before that. I thought well maybe it was because they'd both been officers so I asked a couple more people that I know that weren't....my grandfather being one. Again he said he was receiving more. SO who am I to believe? The media who's known to be liberal or the people I know who have no reason to lie? Hmmmm...think I'll believe the actual vets I know who all say that they get better benefits than before. I'm sure there are people who fall through the cracks as with any other type of gov't or medical program but I think that by far most vets are getting what they're supposed to.

, Maybe they should be entitled to more money, you know everyone says support your troops rally around the flag when some administration decides when war is necessary, when someone loses their limbs i think they should be compensated , and compensated well, not above poverty line. all that cost about free medical is their right , they of all people earned it by their sacrificed
so do not play semantics with your question. i don't think we do enough. and in 5 to 10 years this wars burden is our responsibility, just like the republicans say support your troops . well lets make them keep their word.
everyone reads about the deaths in Iraq ( that's war)
but how many come back with out limbs etc.
and what does this government give them a pension just above the poverty line and free medical care. maybe
JUST maybe they deserve more............

you disgust me

and with your last detail remark , you just prove what kind of yellow belly fool that you are, The cuts that bush was proposed will affect the veterans that fight this war.
no they wont get less money , they just wont get what they deserve, and in 5 to 10 years while inflation goes up their pensions will decrease . go find ahole and bury your self in it

Join American Legion, or DAV if you have an Honorable Discharge...they support active, retired Reserve and National Guard. They are advocates!
