I suppose it's all down the the Enlightenment Project - the belief that humans should advance their knowledge to enhance and improve mankind by understanding it more and thus being able to shape it for the better.

Nobody likes school, you just have to make the most of it*

*and no, I don't believe that people necessarily miss school when they leave. The people that do I imagine are either the people that messed around and now work at McDonalds or the people who don't remember how hard being young is/was.

Because some people wouldn't be able to study at home - because their parents aren't educated enough to be able to support them in learning, or because their home environment is chaotic or abusive, or maybe they don't even have a real home. The only way to give everyone a fair start that's as equal as possible is to have everyone go to school.

Also, because in going to school we learn a lot more than the subjects. We learn how to deal with other people, and - probably even more importantly - how to put up with being bored and frustrated sometimes; because in life, believe me, this'll happen sometimes!

Coz... we are not born by knowing everything. So, we need school as a place for us to learn everything. For me school is a place where i can learn from experienced people 'bout their specific skill.
