Yes India has second largest army in the world but quality is not bad either. India have all the missile systems inhome and most of them can carry nukes. India is the nuclear country...so it comes in top 10 powerful armies in the world. India has defence tie-ups with Israel (best in defence technoloy), Russia (one of the best in fighter planes technology) and now with U.S. So....people who are saying that India's defence system don't have quality...they are mistaken. Right now no one in the world can take India for nothing.

i am not sure but i think india is the fourth largest army in the world. wherever the position is are but our indian army is the best army in the world. they are well trained and throughly with the jungle warfare and not only this, US army is always there to learn the trick from the indian army in the name of Joint Indo-US excersice. so, what do you think boys...

Yeah, but its second largest, only in quantity, not quality. We've to make it the best in terms of quality. It should be equipped with modern technologies and all. We can also make our own military equipments, just as we made the satellites, that'll really help.

Yes it is true, but the army is not equipped with modern arms and armaments, as some developed countries have. The defence budget also is not very high.
