Be above this person - you are a lot better - mind games are usually played by insecure people so don't worry - and remember in my book you are a lovely person otherwise you would not be upset about it. Good luck. Another thing - what goes round comes round - just be patient and you can be sure she will end up suffering for her arrogance and nastiness. Always happens. Then - have a laugh at her expense.

Get advice from a timber yard they'll probably suggest a 2 x 4 around the head region!
But seriously she is a psychic vampire that will drain your energy if you do not protect yourself by embracing the idea that you have done good and are above reproach!
Deal with her as you would anyone else using courtesy, consideration and respect as if her attitude is entirely invisible to you, and her boat will soon sink or come up to your example!

Of course she was rude -- but the main thing here is what do we do to
"cope" when something like this occurs? We're only ruining our workday
and the next and the next and next ..UNTIL we just DO NOT give that lady........
ANY ROOM or ANY TIME in OUR head. If I allow her time and room in MY
head, then that's on ME! It only took her 4 seconds to glance rudely, sneer and walk away. I knew immediately that wasn't the Sunday School solution, so get it out of my head ASAP and let her be the one that stews.
Your only obligation is to do a good job and try not to repeat errors, such as this one. Good Luck lil' Miss Finn and God Bless [you're a winner].

It takes a big person to admit to their mistakes and an even bigger person to apologize for them.
The world is full of people that are rigid in the way they deal with others, if you treat others the same way you would like to be treated then you will have a head start on them.
Well done.

As far as you are concerned, you apologized. Don't get worked up if she's still furious. Rest assured that all is well within your part having apologized to her and if she doesn't deem that adequate, then she's the one you need to be sorry for, for not having the decency to take a genuine apology

You apologised for your mistake, that makes you a better person than her. So don't worry about her dirty looks, just be nice and get on with your day. If she can't get over it, then leave her to her imature ways.

You made a mistake and owned up to it..You did all you can do. if she still is angry, that is her problem. Stand up for yourself. This lady will made a mistake soon enough. That is why we need to be ready with forgiveness quickly, because we will all need it in return.

Do not let it get to you. You apologized you did the right thing and let the rest just roll off. If people are rude, that is not your fault.

some people are like that. You did right. You apologized. You should feel good. She's the one that's got the problem.
