if you cook 30gms of toor dal you get approx. 100kcal and 18gm of carbohydrates.. 30 gm of dal is half a bowl n that is one serving.. hope the information is enough for you..

Cooked dals contain significant amount of water which has no calories. Dry dals contain carbohydrates and proteins, fiber and some mositure etc. The calorific value of dals is approximately same as rice, wheat etc., since proteins and carbohydrates have the same calorific value of 4 Cals for gram. Fats have 8 to 10 Cals for gram.
