The blood goes to the stomach for the digestion of the food. secondly the fat reserves in the body are used for the digestion process.
That is why we feel cold after meals in winter.

Following a meal blood is diverted to the stomach, that is where it is needed most at the time since the process of digestion begins, the peripheral vessels are the most effected as also blood supply to skin,in summer it is not so obvious as climatic conditions keep you warm, but in winter it is obvious. The same reason why one feels sleepy after a very heavy meal, there is less supply to the brain.

It depends on what you eat. If you eat rice based meals you will feel cold. But if you eat more ghee based stuff like punjabi food or up or rajasthani food or even kashmeri cuisine or continental it makes you feel warmer. But if you end your meals with a glass of water you will feel cold for a while.

My fowl and dumplings are the bomb. elements needed : entire fowl (would properly be decrease up in case you want) a million onion celery (optionally accessible) fowl bouillon granules Tony Cacceries (spelling?) Pepper, Garlic Biscuits... i take advantage of the type that are available in a 4pack, i trust they are pillsbury variety. placed fowl, onion, celery, garlic, pepper, and Tony's, and quite decrease than 0.5 the jar of bouillon in a huge pot (do not upload too a lot bouillon off the bat... that is totally salty and too a lot will ruin the completed aspect) . Fill with water and convey to a boil. once boiling, shrink to medium warmth and proceed to boil till fowl is cooked (about 40 5 minutes to an hour). once the fowl is cooked, eliminate it from the inventory and placed aside to relax. (Reserve the inventory... it is your broth).... at the same time as fowl is cooling, initiate rolling out your biscuits, pulling down them, and reducing them into skinny strips. I decrease them in 0.5 again to lead them to more beneficial like squares becuase I dno't like huge dumplings besides the undeniable fact that it is your call....I oftentimes use 3 of the 4 can's of biscuits. deliver the inventory again to a low boil and initiate dropping on your biscuit products slowly. they are going to blow his own trumpet and take in area, keep stirring and including dumplings till you experience there is sufficient. prepare dinner the dumplings through themeslves in the inventory for quarter-hour.... at the same time as the dumplings are cooking, pull the fowl from the bones and upload it to the dumplings in the inventory. prepare dinner an more beneficial 10-quarter-hour. The broth will thicken because it cools. I basically made this 2 days in the past and we are nonetheless ingesting on it now!
