My dad was a true Scotsman and really knew his whisky. His favourite was Glenfiddich malt, closely followed by Glenmorangie. My family and I tried every Christmas to buy a different kind of malt whisky for my dad, so believe me, he must have tried the lot.
It always came back to Glenfiddich.

Well the only whiskey there is Jamesons. Glenfiddich and Bells are whisky. But IMPO it would have to be Laphroiag 12, or Glenlivet 8

Well this is a really lay down misere.Of these three Glenfiddich by a long long way
Then Bell's.
Jamesons Only because it's nominated.Believe me there are dozens of scotch that are better
Matter fact scotch outsells Jamesons and Tullymore Dew in Dublin

Glenfiddich out of those. Usually I'll go with a blended whisky like Crown Royal or Johnnie Walker Black as it's a little easier on the wallet.

Bells and Glenfiddich are examples of whisky.
As far as I'm concerned, Glendronnach is the best Scotch on the market.

Glenfiddich - Hands down everytime but I would suggest Isle of Jura for a smotth Scottish whiskey.

The difference between the three is that Jamesons-in line with all Irish whiskeys is distilled three times whereas Scotch whisky is distilled only twice.
This makes all Irish whiskeys different to Scotch and to my taste much smoother.
